This year’s race is jointly organized by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers’ Modification Branch, Off-Road Vehicle Branch, and Pickup Vehicle Branch, setting a high-standard benchmark that promises a clash of the nation’s top off-road competitors.

The event is exclusively titled by Dongfeng Mengshi and is strongly supported by numerous leading off-road modification brands. These sponsors not only guarantee the event’s high quality but are also closely linked to the performance of participating vehicles, together creating a complete ecosystem from product to real-world application.

Mirroring the off-road modified vehicles displayed silently in the exhibition halls, the track will be filled with mud splashes and roaring engines. The country’s top off-road drivers will converge in Dongguan with an even larger lineup than last year, pushing their vehicles to the limit and letting their tire tracks express the very soul of off-roading.

Nearly 50 off-road competition vehicles will participate, representing a microcosm of AIT’s diverse modification culture. They range from deeply modified extreme beasts to lightly tuned or factory-level models, showcasing the full spectrum of off-road creativity and engineering.

The race schedule is intense and full of suspense: on October 18, through fierce qualifying rounds, five elite vehicles each from the modified and production categories will be selected; on the morning of October 19, these finalists will compete in the grand finale; and on the afternoon of the same day, the awards ceremony will celebrate the champions.

The race adopts an obstacle skills timed format with strict rules and high spectator appeal. Timing starts as soon as the vehicle’s front touches the start arch, and drivers must navigate four types of obstacles—“bumpy road,” “undulating road,” “cross axle,” and “swinging road”—before finishing and hitting the stop lamp to record their results.

This is not only a rigorous test of modified parts’ performance, but also the ultimate challenge of drivers’ precision and control. The fastest champion will receive a maintenance package from Ansuo and a full set of Dixcel brake pads.
