CIAACE 2026 | Belgian Embassy in China Invites Attendees to Overseas Expansion Forum During Yasn Exhibition

During the annual YASN Exhibition - CIAACE 2026, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in China will host a conference titled “Flanders – Your Ideal Gateway to the European New Energy Vehicle Market.” The conference aims to build a secure and reliable cooperation bridge for Chinese enterprises seeking to expand into the European market. 

Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with senior Belgian government officials and gain first-hand insights into investment policies, industrial ecosystems, and logistics hubs, helping them identify a clear and strategic pathway for entering the European market. Mr. Koen De Ridder, Commercial Counsellor of Flanders Investment & Trade at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in China, will attend the conference and participate throughout the entire program.

The conference will also welcome Mr. Jan Van der Borght, Chief Representative of the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, whose participation will provide strong support for the event.

Belgium is home to leading automotive manufacturers such as Volvo and Audi, along with more than 300 supporting and supplier companies, forming a well-established research, development, and manufacturing ecosystem for new energy vehicles. The country benefits from dedicated industrial policies, a multilingual talent pool, and a strong innovation-driven support system.

As a core automotive logistics hub in Europe, the Port of Zeebrugge leverages its multimodal transport network to enable efficient storage, transportation, and supply chain optimization for new energy vehicles and automotive components.

According to preliminary information, the Embassies of the United States, Slovakia, the Philippines, Pakistan, and Mexico are also scheduled to host meetings during the YASN Exhibition.
