From October 17 to 19, 2025, the 12th China International Auto Tuning Show (2025 AIT, All in Tuning) was successfully held in Dongguan, the central city of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the birthplace of China’s auto tuning industry. As one of the world’s four major professional tuning exhibitions and the only domestic show combining a professional expo with an international competition, it has been recognized by the industry as a benchmark event for innovation across the entire automotive tuning value chain.
This year’s AIT integrated exhibitions, professional competitions, car enthusiast gatherings, high-level forums, and diverse interactive experiences, providing a comprehensive showcase of the latest trends and innovations in the automotive tuning industry. Through high-standard automotive events and immersive activities, it also promotes the healthy and accelerated development of car culture.
A total of 1,353 domestic and international specialized and general tuning brands participated in the exhibition, including 166 international brands, marking a 21% increase compared to last year. The presence of renowned international brands has further propelled AIT’s development to a higher level.
With the exhibition philosophy of “Cool Cars, Popularity, and Business,” leading brands continue to show strong confidence, with a renewal rate at the 2026 AIT exceeding 70%.
The number of brands participating for ten consecutive years reached a record high, further enhancing exhibitor loyalty under AIT’s reputation as an “effective tuning show.”
A total of 3,055 featured cars participated in the exhibition and competitions, including over 30 foreign vehicles transported from Europe, the Americas, and Asia by air or sea.
Some car owners even flew to China from Mexico with their own vehicles, making a special trip just to support AIT!
During the exhibition promotion period, over 5,000 social media accounts engaged in related topics, including more than 550 mid-to-top-tier KOLs. The overall online exposure exceeded 1 billion impressions. On-site, 202,000 visitors attended the exhibition and competitions, with professional attendees coming from all provinces and regions across China, including Taiwan.
During the exhibition period, nearly 1 billion online impressions were recorded across all platforms, and the promotional buzz continued to grow as related topics gained traction.

The 2025 AIT featured eight themed exhibition zones, showcasing the latest products, technologies, scenarios, and ecosystems. Covering new energy, next-generation tuning, new racetracks, and emerging trends, these zones presented the latest business models in the industry. Here, the entire automotive sector witnessed the innovative directions of the tuning ecosystem and the latest heights of China’s car culture development.
“Cool Cars, Popularity, and Business!” AIT is a major exhibition that draws high public interest without inviting entertainment celebrities, and one that prioritizes both popularity and tangible results. It is redefining the narrative model of professional automotive tuning shows.
AIT continues to uphold the principle of “effectiveness first,” creating a professional tuning exhibition with the philosophy of “Cool Cars, Popularity, and Business.” Through the integration of exhibitions and competitions, “popularity” is transformed into tangible business opportunities, continuously expanding the boundaries of tuning and exploring innovative scenarios. The focus is on the “Four ‘News’”: new energy, next-generation tuning, new technologies, and new scenarios. This approach helps companies and shops tap into the latest productive forces in tuning, seize opportunities in the new energy tuning market, expand industry potential, and support the transformation and upgrading of the entire supply chain, achieving remarkable success.
“Dongguan Debuts” Trend A total of 1,353 domestic and international specialized and general tuning brands participated, showcasing over 20,000 products. Among them, more than 1,800 items made their annual debut, first showcase, or first exhibition, representing a 9.1% increase year-on-year. The proportion of international brand products making their China debut also rose by 26.2%.
International brands such as ALCON, AP Racing, OHLINS, HKS, TEIN, DIXCEL, JAOS, HARDRACE, Continental, CUSCO, HRE, RECARO, AK, SSR, AMSOIL, FERODO, and others made a grand appearance, highlighting AIT’s emerging “international flair.”
Domestic independent brands such as CMST, EDDYSTAR, RSS, TEI, YOFER, FECCR, MOTVE, BUB, RF RACING, magicair, FEELAIR, SM, KM, BLOX, INSPEED, FACEWHEELS, boder, Jinbo, Shite, Cerui, Jujiu, Lishuang, Qiaozhuo, Sailun, Haoma, Ming’an International, Jinfengchi, and others made their presence felt at 2025 AIT, showcasing their latest products and technologies.
The 2025 AIT Off-Road Culture Pavilion was significantly expanded, featuring brands such as Koman, Muye, Meilun Meihuan, KMC, AO, AC, JHO, Black Mamba, Chiku, Bofunde, Zhukai, Yehuang, YIP, Newbart, Anruote, Chiya, Heinie, Sais, Fangxiang, Arnoda, DME, and others. They showcased a wide range of products, including off-road suspension systems, wheels, lights, off-road gear, engine upgrades, roof accessories, bull bars, outdoor equipment, as well as a series of the latest complete vehicle modification solutions.
Integrated with the 3rd Urban Off-Road Obstacle Race, the Off-Road Culture Pavilion allowed visitors to experience, understand, and fall in love with off-roading, actively participate in off-road sports and vehicle modification, promoting the healthy and rapid development of off-road culture and driving the expansion and upgrading of the off-road market.
The currently trending automotive tuning lifestyle products also shone brightly at AIT. Among the exhibiting model car brands, the famous Japanese brand Tomica traveled specifically to participate, alongside domestic brands such as Meichitu, Bimeigao, No.1 Platform, Chaoyi, Lunyü, MT, ATS, and others. These brands showcased the latest limited-edition and officially customized model cars, which were highly popular among car enthusiasts.
At this exhibition, 64% of leading brands launched their annual new products, further strengthening the “Dongguan Debut” reputation. We will soon release a special feature summarizing all the exhibition’s new products—stay tuned.
For consecutive years, AIT has pursued its industry mission of “adding tuning services to 10,000 stores annually,” continuously providing guidance, expanding opportunities, and ensuring implementation for store transformation nationwide.
This year, a record 82,222 stores attended the exhibition. Among them, specialized tuning shops accounted for approximately 27.3%, car wash and detailing shops 46.2%, repair, maintenance, EV & wheel, and 4S stores 19.3%, and other types 8.2%.
The CAAM 2025 Auto Tuning Industry High-Quality Development and Ecosystem Innovation Conference, guided by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and jointly organized by the Auto Tuning Branch and Yasen International, was held with the theme of “Policy Empowerment · Industry Upgrade · Ecosystem Win-Win.” The conference focused on key topics such as policy and standards, overseas expansion, and new energy tuning.

The conference brought together over 200 industry guests from across the entire automotive tuning ecosystem, including government leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the National Information Center, as well as representatives from leading domestic and international automakers, top tuning brands, key component suppliers, authoritative research and academic institutions, and media outlets.
The attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on policy interpretation, trend analysis, practical experience sharing, and benchmark achievements, systematically addressing industry pain points and injecting strong momentum into the high-quality transformation of China’s auto tuning industry—from a hundred-billion-yuan scale toward a trillion-yuan blue ocean.
Starting from this edition, AIT launched the “10,000 Stores Rolling Out New Films” initiative to help the car film industry move beyond the “price war.” Nearly 20 carefully selected new colors, new films, and new enterprises were showcased. Leveraging technological advantages, this project rapidly accelerated the adoption of film wrapping and color-change services in tuning shops. Both car film shops upgrading with tuning services and tuning shops adopting premium films drew high anticipation from exhibitors and buyers alike.
At this edition, the new energy theme was prominently featured. OEMs such as FAW-Volkswagen, Geely Radar electric pickup, Dongfeng Mengshi electric off-road, and Xpeng Motors continued to actively promote the co-development of the tuning ecosystem.
During the exhibition, Lingchong New Energy concurrently held the “New Energy Historical Turning Point – Automotive Aftermarket Development Cooperation Forum.” Presented jointly by Lingchong New Energy, the New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Promotion Center of the China Association of Equipment Management, and Xpeng Motors, the forum focused on the transformation and opportunities in the home charging pile market, effectively facilitating collaborative dialogue and cooperation across the upstream and downstream of the industry chain.
The popularity index of 2025 AIT reached a new high. Exciting competitions such as the D1 Drift Grand Prix, the “Zhongzi” Urban Off-Road Obstacle Race, the Asia Tuning Car Championship, and the Model Car Drift Competition brought high-octane action to the exhibition. These events not only showcased the latest technologies in motorsports but also set new trends in car culture.
The official D1 races featured teams and drivers from multiple Asian countries and regions, setting a new participation record. Tens of thousands of spectators attended on-site, online exposure reached 1 billion impressions, and live streams with tens of thousands of concurrent viewers have become the norm.
Over the three-day competition, the action was thrilling, with spectators seamlessly switching between the AIT exhibition and the D1 drift race for nonstop excitement.
This year, D1 set up temporary grandstands, enhancing the viewing experience. In the standing area, crowds surged as tens of thousands of fans got an up-close look at the unique thrill of drifting.
At the 2025 D1 Dongguan event, the championship, runner-up, and third place titles were claimed by Zhang Shengjun, Zhu Yonglun, and Li Xin, respectively, with Zhang Shengjun taking home the coveted championship trophy.
After fierce competition, in the annual finals, Zhang Shengjun (#90) and Xue Kun (#88) from the Zero Kilometer Lubricants ZM Drift Team claimed the championship and runner-up, respectively, while Wang Qi (#82) from the SMA & DRS Drift Team took third place.
The professional officiating by Shigenobu Hisashi and Haruyama Takashi received unanimous praise from all participating teams and drivers.
Star drivers, including Gao Xuan, Liuliuge, and Qian Zhun, also held fan meet-and-greet sessions during the event.
The Douyin live stream consistently attracted over 20,000 concurrent viewers, generating enthusiastic responses.
A Wechat Video Channel live stream received over 30,000 likes, proving popular even among professionals in the automotive aftermarket.

Hundreds of central and local media outlets, including Nanfang+, Xuexi Qiangguo, and Nanfang Daily, covered the event.
Without relying on entertainment celebrities to draw attention, the D1 Drift Series has become the “celebrity” in the hearts of millions of car enthusiasts. This marked the second consecutive year that the D1GP official races were held concurrently and at the same venue as AIT in Dongguan. Through participation, sponsorship, and engagement in related industries, top brands have strongly promoted motorsports in the Greater Bay Area and advanced the development of China’s automotive culture.
Jointly organized by the Auto Tuning Branch, Off-Road Vehicle Branch, and Pickup Branch of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), with Mengshi Motors as the title sponsor, this truly “state-backed” urban off-road race supports the upgrading and transformation of the off-road industry. A highlight of the event was the significant participation of electric off-road vehicles.
After preliminary rounds, regional competitions, and the grand finals, participating teams from multiple Asian countries were evaluated to select the entries that best represented tuning trends, the latest technological standards, and outstanding craftsmanship. The championship generated nearly 200 million online impressions throughout the entire event.
From the 18 top creative tuning entries selected by online votes and showcased on the “Star Car Avenue,” to the fierce competition of the Asia Tuning Car Championship; from the nostalgic 30th Anniversary “Initial D” exhibit in the Simon Magic Garage zone, to the retro “Golden Era of Hong Kong Cinema” special exhibition in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao area—thousands of modified cars on-site offered a visual feast and marked a concentrated breakthrough of China’s tuning culture from a “niche circle” to a “mainstream track.”
Industry leaders noted that this edition of AIT demonstrated how China’s auto tuning ecosystem is being positively developed through dual drivers: practical application needs and the pursuit of passion.
Tuning fun for all ages! In the D1RC remote-controlled car drift experience zone, both kids and adults enjoyed professional mini tracks, experiencing the unique thrill of car drifting through skillful RC vehicles.
A super open-air party atmosphere! Hundreds of premium modified cars gathered at the yesDG outdoor car meet, where owners connected over their shared passion for cars, enjoying the event to the fullest and lingering long after.
In the Kids’ Car Drift Zone, families experienced a fun and unique form of drifting, featuring a “cute contrast” theme. The event was jointly organized by YingSuo Automotive (Douyin ID: Hardcore Kids’ Tuning) and Douyin automotive influencer Galaxy Sweetheart Little Pig, with No.1 Platform providing a 1:64 AE86 car model personally signed by Keiichi Tsuchiya.
The Stay Fresh Jam Breakdance Competition, featuring Olympic judges and top dancers, brought dynamic dance performances that infused the car culture scene with vibrant energy.
The competition invited more than 20 international IASCA judges to evaluate entries, selecting outstanding works that combine craftsmanship with innovative technology. This year, several audio modification solutions for new energy vehicles drew particular attention.
All in Tuning! The 2025 AIT is one of the exhibitions with the largest collection of tuned and modified cars, serving as a cultural sanctuary for car enthusiasts to love, enjoy, and celebrate cars. This year, a total of 3,055 exhibition cars, competition cars, gathering cars, and display cars were showcased, setting a new record in the 12-year history of AIT.
Experience the best of Asian cars in one day! At the 2025 AIT Asia Tuning Car Championship, a total of 7,883 modified cars from 14 Asian countries competed. The shortlisted vehicles were showcased on-site at the AIT exhibition, with the overall winners determined during the grand finals.
The Asia Tuning Car Championship provided a window into the highest levels of tuning development in Asia, clearly showcasing the latest trends in tuning culture and offering abundant sources of innovation for tuning companies and shops.
Jointly initiated by Simon Magic Garage and EAB Royal, the festival combined cool car displays, track parades, night parties, and themed interactive experiences into one vibrant event. Four major themed exhibition zones delivered an unforgettable experience:

Nearly 100 car clubs and over a thousand car owners brought their finest modified vehicles to AIT, creating a spectacular gathering of a thousand cars. The event featured a wide variety of formats, each offering its own unique excitement and highlights.
The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region is a leading hub for automotive tuning in China, where the classic Hong Kong-Macao style remains timeless.
Daytime Excitement, Nighttime Romance. The Grand Gathering of a Thousand Cars was not only a dialogue between cars, between cars and people, and among people, but also an essential element of AIT’s philosophy of “Cool Cars, Popularity, and Business.” It served as a concentrated showcase of China’s tuning industry innovations and an inspiration source for tuning companies and shops.
AIT stands out not just for the quantity of cool cars, but for their quality. Cutting-edge tuning technologies are applied on real vehicles at AIT, innovative modification solutions are rapidly promoted, and vehicles with unique domestic and international styles are displayed and interacted with. This releases the economic value of new productive forces in tuning, driving the healthy and accelerated development of China’s tuning culture.
The 13th AIT Tuning Exhibition will be held in Beijing from March 13–16, 2026 (concurrently at the same venue as the Yasn Beijing Expo).
The 14th AIT Tuning Exhibition will take place in Dongguan from October 16–18, 2026.
