The competition follows a group round-robin format, with each day focused on three key dimensions: theory, full-vehicle systematic fault diagnosis, and battery-specific maintenance. This setup fully showcases the participants’ comprehensive technical skills.

Realistic Maintenance Scenarios

The event features three mainstream models—Tesla, BYD, and Geely—with pre-set complex faults to replicate real frontline repair challenges. Participants’ ability to respond effectively in authentic work conditions is thoroughly tested.

Three Core Competition Segments

• Theory Quiz Session: 10 institutions compete simultaneously, with questions drawn from real-world “difficult and rare” maintenance cases.

• Full-Vehicle Fault Detection Session: CATARC sets fault points covering the three-electric system, thermal management, and vehicle network. Participants trace and diagnose faults precisely according to standard procedures.

• Battery Fault Detection Session: Standardized safe disassembly and assembly of high-voltage battery packs, cell-level precise inspection, and in-depth troubleshooting of BMS hardware and software faults.
