Munich, Germany – September 8, 2025 – During the Munich International Motor Show 2025, one of Europe’s most influential automotive exhibitions, China’s XPeng Motors officially announced the launch of its European R&D Center, marking a significant milestone in the company’s global innovation strategy.
At this year’s show, XPeng showcased five models, including the all-new XPeng P7, the 2025 XPeng G6, 2025 XPeng G9, XPeng X9, and XPeng P7+. In addition, cutting-edge technology exhibits such as humanoid robots and flying cars were also on display.
During the press conference themed “Leading AI Future Mobility”, Chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng highlighted the company’s latest achievements in product design, vehicle performance, and intelligent technology. He emphasized that XPeng is building a comprehensive AI ecosystem centered on AI vehicles, humanoid robots, and flying cars.
The new European R&D Center is XPeng’s ninth global research facility, complementing its centers in Silicon Valley and Santiago. According to Vice Chairman and Co-President Gu Hongdi, the center will allow XPeng to engage more closely with European users and convert local feedback into innovative product developments.
Since entering the European market in 2021, starting with Norway, XPeng has expanded to 46 countries and regions. From January to July 2025, overseas deliveries reached 21,701 units, representing a 174% year-on-year increase, demonstrating the steady progress of XPeng’s international expansion strategy.
Founded with a vision to lead the AI-driven future of mobility, XPeng Motors focuses on intelligent electric vehicles, AI technologies, and smart mobility solutions, continuously expanding its global footprint to bring innovative products to users worldwide.
To further support innovation and practical application in the automotive industry, XPeng Motors highlights the importance of hands-on technology and industry collaboration. To address this, the China International New Energy Vehicle Technology, Components, and Service Exhibition (CINEVE)will feature a repair zone focusing on “real vehicle, real repair,” building a platform for industry collaboration.
Real Needs: Addressing “cannot be repaired” issues—visitors witness repairs of failures that others cannot or dare not fix.
Real Repairs: High-difficulty failures are repaired on-site; techniques become orders, and workstations become brand exhibition booths.
Real Resources: Accurately connecting supply and demand, solving problems like “hard-to-procure parts, limited technical support, narrow cooperation channels.”
Real Highlights: Repair skills compete on-site, visitors vote for the “Repair King,” and can even learn hands-on techniques.
Date: March 13–16, 2026
Location: Beijing · New China International Exhibition Center, Phase II (Hall A1)
