03 Close Collaboration Across the Industry Chain

Representatives from leading automakers such as FAW-Volkswagen, Great Wall Motors, and GAC Group shared unique insights on the color change film market from the perspective of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Data shows that the market demand for factory-certified color change services is experiencing strong growth, with an annual growth rate exceeding 40%. This clearly highlights the enormous potential of this niche sector and marks a shift from a simple supplier-customer relationship to a deeply collaborative innovation partnership between OEMs and quality film manufacturers.

Looking ahead, under the backdrop of automotive industry transformation and upgrading, more OEMs will establish new partnerships with top-tier film companies centered on “co-creating value.” This will foster a jointly built and thriving vehicle modification ecosystem, deepening and solidifying cooperation between both parties.

04 Standardization Drives Industry Development

Addressing the issue of missing standards amid rapid industry growth, the conference focused on building a standardized service system. Representatives from multiple companies reached a consensus, emphasizing that establishing a full-process standardization system—from raw material procurement and product manufacturing to installation services—is key to ensuring end-user experience and promoting the healthy, sustainable development of the industry.

Liu Yalong, Secretary-General of the Automotive Modification Division of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, provided a policy interpretation that clarified the future direction. He highlighted efforts to promote the detailed implementation of standards, guide enterprises to operate in compliance, strengthen supervision, and encourage collaboration among all parties to improve the industry ecosystem. Through standardization, the industry will be driven to reach new heights.
