On the evening of April 21, CATL (300750.SZ) held its Super Technology Day product launch event in Beijing. The event, which can be described as a "high-density technology showcase," not only unveiled a new battery product matrix with five groundbreaking innovations but also introduced the "Super Swap Integrated All-Scene Energy Supply Network Plan." This marks a significant breakthrough in its core new energy technology and further enhances its full industry chain layout. Behind this event, focused on front-end technological innovation, CATL has already simultaneously developed a backend service ecosystem. Centered around its NING Service, the company has built a comprehensive repair service system for new energy vehicles, adaptable to new battery technologies and covering the entire lifecycle. This dual empowerment approach of "technological implementation + service support" addresses industry repair challenges and strengthens its competitiveness in the aftermarket.
At this launch event, CATL unveiled five core products at once: the third-generation Shenxing supercharging battery, the third-generation Kirin battery, the Kirin condensed-state battery, the second-generation Xiaoyao super hybrid battery, and the sodium-ion battery. These products cater to a wide range of needs, from mainstream household to high-end luxury, from pure electric to hybrid, and from passenger cars to commercial vehicles. Additionally, with the Super Swap Integrated Energy Supply Network, CATL has created a dual energy supply path, combining "charging + battery swapping," to comprehensively address users' range and energy anxiety.
However, the large-scale application of advanced battery technology inevitably raises higher requirements for new energy vehicle repair services. The structural differences between different battery systems, the safe operation and maintenance of high-voltage systems, and the repair and regeneration of aging batteries all require professional technical support and a standardized service system. This is precisely the core purpose behind CATL's strategy in the new energy vehicle repair sector and its deep focus on developing NING Service.

As an independent aftermarket brand under CATL, NING Service has already completed ten years of deep cultivation and has become the core pillar of its new energy vehicle repair strategy. It is also a critical link connecting front-end battery technology with end-user demands. Leveraging CATL's global leadership in power battery technology, NING Service has built a complete "service-talent-standards" triad. Currently, it covers 75 countries, with over 1,100 service outlets and 67 spare parts warehouses. NING Service has achieved industry-leading repair time commitments in China, promising "general fault repair within 8 hours and complex fault repair within 72 hours," providing a solid network support for aftersales maintenance of new battery technologies.

In response to the diverse battery products launched at this event, NING Service has already completed technical adaptation and service upgrades, precisely matching the repair needs of different batteries. For the high-voltage characteristics and complex structures of the third-generation Shenxing supercharging battery and third-generation Kirin battery, NING Service is equipped with industry-leading nondestructive testing equipment. Using ultrasonic guided wave technology, it can achieve precise fault location within 15 minutes, with an accuracy rate exceeding 90%, thus avoiding secondary damage caused by disassembly.
For the condensed-state electrolyte technology of the Kirin condensed-state battery and the cost-effective features of the sodium-ion battery, NING Service has optimized the repair processes and parts supply, launching exclusive detection and maintenance solutions to ensure professional operation and maintenance services throughout the entire lifecycle of the new batteries.
A particularly notable development is NING Service's pioneering CTP (Cell to Pack) repair service. By using CATL's original parts and stringent technical standards, repair costs are significantly lower than full pack replacement, with a product yield rate exceeding 99.999%. This service effectively resolves the industry's "replace, not repair" dilemma with CTP batteries. This technological advantage will perfectly adapt to the newly launched battery models, further reducing user repair costs and alleviating the aftersales pressure on automakers.
In terms of repair technology and talent support, NING Service has partnered with 18 provinces and cities nationwide to establish specialized new energy vehicle diagnostic and repair training centers, training over 8,600 industry professionals. These skilled professionals, through systematic training, are proficient in the structural principles, fault diagnosis, and repair techniques of various new battery types. They strictly adhere to safety regulations for high-voltage system repairs in new energy vehicles, eliminating potential safety hazards during the repair process.
Moreover, CATL has led or participated in the formulation of 24 industry standards. Building on these standards, NING Service has developed "operating room" level repair standards, including a temperature and humidity-controlled dust-free environment and 34 detailed procedures. This ensures both battery performance and repair safety, filling a critical gap in the industry’s repair standards for new energy batteries.

The newly launched Super Swap Integrated All-Scene Energy Supply Network Plan aligns seamlessly with NING Service's repair strategy, creating a synergistic effect. The battery swap stations within the energy supply network not only offer fast battery swapping services but also incorporate repair and diagnostic functions. This enables an integrated "battery swapping + diagnostic + maintenance" service. While swapping the battery, users can also complete battery status checks and potential fault diagnostics, ensuring that "energy supply and maintenance progress simultaneously" and significantly improving service efficiency.
Additionally, NING Service, leveraging CATL's subsidiary BANGPU Recycling's global circular supply chain, has established a "72-hour rapid recovery" network. This network re-manufactures, reuses, or recycles retired batteries generated during the repair process. It creates a full lifecycle ecological loop of "production – use – repair – recycling," not only promoting sustainable development but also further enhancing the industry chain layout of new energy vehicle repair services.

Currently, the number of new energy vehicles is steadily increasing, and the aftermarket is entering a period of rapid growth. As a core aspect of this market, battery repair has become a new focal point of industry competition. CATL's product launch at Super Technology Day not only represents a breakthrough in front-end technology but also showcases its comprehensive industry chain strategy—front-end multi-battery products meeting market demands, and back-end NING Service building a professional repair system, forming a positive cycle of "technological innovation + service support."
In the future, as the five new battery types gradually enter mass production and the Super Swap Integrated Energy Supply Network is implemented, NING Service will continue to deepen its technical adaptation and service upgrades. The company will expand its service network coverage, improve talent development and standardization efforts, providing not only professional aftersales support for CATL's new battery products but also driving the standardization and professional development of the entire new energy vehicle repair industry. This will bring users a more convenient, reliable, and efficient vehicle and maintenance experience, supporting the high-quality development of the new energy vehicle industry.
