CATL's "Ningjia Service" Breaks Through Global Battery Maintenance Challenges, Offering a Chinese Solution to the World

Sep. 02, 2025

EV batteries dented or damaged? Worried about losing the factory warranty after repair? Traditionally, taking your vehicle to a 4S shop for battery repairs meant package disassembly, days of waiting, and no support once the warranty expired. But now, CATL's dedicated after-sales brand “Ningjia Service” has solved these pain points completely.

Battery Repairs Without Losing Warranty – Costs Reduced by 90%

As a service brand focusing on power battery after-sales, the biggest relief for EV owners is that repairs do not affect the original factory warranty. Whether your car is still under warranty or has long passed it, as long as it is equipped with a CATL battery, your warranty rights remain intact after service here. Previously, many 4S repairs resulted in a warranty gap, but Ningjia Service has eliminated this concern entirely.

Its technical strength and efficiency are equally impressive:

  • At 4S shops, just disassembling and inspecting a battery could take days.

  • Integrated battery packs like CTP were even harder to repair due to lack of equipment and expertise.

Ningjia Service developed ultrasonic guided wave non-destructive testing equipment that can accurately detect faults in just 15 minutes without disassembling the pack, achieving over 90% accuracy.

Repair times are drastically shorter—most issues are fixed within 8 hours, and even complex cases take no more than 72 hours. The cost? Less than one-tenth of replacing an entire pack. While a new pack could cost 100,000 RMB, repairs here are only 10,000–20,000 RMB.

From Repair to Recycling – A Complete Service Chain

Currently, Ningjia Service has established 1,100 service outlets across 75 countries, including over 800 locations in China, surpassing the network coverage of many automakers' 4S shops.

From inspection to repair to recycling, it has built a full life-cycle service chain for batteries. Retired batteries are properly reconditioned, repurposed for secondary use, or recycled for raw materials.

For EV owners, Ningjia Service not only solves the problem of “difficult, costly, and warranty-risky repairs”, but also helps maintain the long-term value of their batteries.

Even better, the service provides an official Battery Health Certificate. Many owners practice shallow charging and careful maintenance, but second-hand buyers remain skeptical, lowering resale prices. With this certified report, resale values can rise by 5–10%, adding 10,000–20,000 RMB to a car's price.

Industry Event Preview – Driving Global Collaboration

By 2025, China's NEV repair market is expected to reach 255 billion RMB, with an annual growth rate exceeding 30%. However, rapid technology iteration, a talent gap of over 820,000, and data silos still pose challenges.

To address this, the China International New Energy Vehicle Technology, Parts & Services Exhibition will feature a dedicated Vehicle Repair Zone with a focus on real car repairs, creating a collaborative industry platform.
