Taozi Tuning's Path to Advancement: From Online Sales Champion to Full-Chain In-House R&D

The story of Taozi Tuning began in 2010. Starting with publishing modification articles on the AutoHome forum, attracting nearly a million views per post, Taozi Tuning strategically shifted its focus in 2015 to the targeted R&D of a single vehicle model. This move paved the way for the company to carve out a unique path, following a “narrow road with wide possibilities.”

Today, Taozi Tuning's headquarters, located in the Daxing District of Beijing’s Science and Technology Innovation Street, boasts a standalone integrated production workshop equipped with German-standard machinery such as Dukepu sewing machines and punching and quilting integrated machines. The company has established a complete closed-loop process that spans from pattern making, sewing, and wrapping to final assembly and vehicle sales.

In the core modification systems for the Grevia and Sienna models, proprietary patent-designed products account for an impressive 80%. From aerodynamic kits like the "Whale Shark Body Kit" and "Giant Stone Roof Rack" to intelligent interior systems such as the "WEYMOON Aerospace Seats," integrated voice and touchscreen-controlled electronic systems, and custom 11.1-channel active fiber optic sound systems in collaboration with Denmark's Dynaudio and Guangzhou Feige, Taozi Tuning has built an ecosystem of products that is hard to replicate.

As of now, the company holds 32 registered trademarks and over a hundred intellectual property rights. In 2025, it successfully completed the mass production design of both the interior and exterior for the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300, showcasing its evolving R&D capabilities.

From Consecutive RA Championships to Winning the CAAM Award, Honoring Recognition in the Industry

Before this, Taozi Tuning had already made a mark by creating a legendary record in the RA Automotive Customization Competition, winning first place for three consecutive years with the Sienna model. In 2023, "Water Cloud," 2024's "Platinum Han," and 2025's "Ocean Overlord - Whale Shark Aerodynamic Edition" all claimed the top spot, earning praise from RA officials for being "the three-time consecutive champion of the flat-roof Sienna model." Additionally, the company was selected for RA's Top 100 Automotive Customization Industry list, ranked among the "Top 20 Store Brands," and served as a member of RA’s Council.
