On October 19, the 2024 China Customization Auto International Innovation Conference and China International Auto Modification Exhibition (AIT) launched in Dongguan, hosted by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and Yasen Group, with support from key automotive brands. Focusing on modification industry policies, innovative paths, and market trends, the event gathered over 200 participants, including government officials, industry experts, and enterprise representatives.
A special closed-door session brought together 40 industry representatives for strategic discussions on automotive innovation, facilitating direct dialogues between government and business leaders to identify challenges and co-develop solutions.
The conference officially commenced with senior leaders such as Ye Dingda, former Deputy Director of the SME Bureau at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and prominent industry figures inaugurating the event. The ceremony was moderated by Maijia, Deputy Secretary-General of the CAAM Auto Modification Subcommittee.
CAAM Supervisor Yao Jie emphasized the economic influence of the auto industry and the transformative impact of customization, predicting the Chinese modification market to exceed 200 billion yuan by 2025, with an annual growth rate of over 15%.
Ye Dingda highlighted the role of small and medium-sized enterprises in providing customized automotive solutions and outlined government support for "specialized and innovative" growth initiatives.
Cheng Xiaodong, Deputy Director at the National Development and Reform Commission's Price Monitoring Center, discussed the significance of strengthened regulations and market standards to safeguard consumer rights and industry reputation.
